Held at the DuPont Country Club. One hundred and eight golfers attended and $35,000 was raised for the Gift of Life Family House in Philadelphia. The event supports Organ Donation Awareness.

If You Are OK Then I Am OK
During Dan’s last week at Saint Francis Healthcare, a nursing unit held a Covid-style surprise farewell. Staff held handwritten signs of “Danisms,” including “If you are OK then I am OK” — something Dan said while rounding when staff asked how he was.
The takeaway: leaders achieve great things when they care more about staff than about numbers. #healthcare #leadership #ceo
Announcing A Minute With Sinnott
Dan is rebooting his consulting business over the winter and will share experiences along the way. His question: “Where did you leave your mark?”
His father, a blue-collar steel worker, taught him that we leave our mark on people, not on buildings and programs.
Thank A Mentor
In the early 1980s Dan was an Assistant Vice President at Misericordia Hospital in West Philadelphia. The system CFO, Jim Schleif, taught the team healthcare finance every Tuesday morning.
The lessons: “You have to know your numbers,” and “the numbers tell a story.” Jim died in April 2005. Dan still has the Radio Shack pocket calculator he bought about 40 years ago.
